Trick Meet Videos

The Oregon Baton Council has a carefully sequenced 7-level event to assist novice and beginning twirlers in the development of their twirling skills.

Click here for a list of the tricks in each level.

(1) Instructional videos: Watch these first to learn how to do the tricks. When you feel you know the tricks, move on to the "Follow along" videos. The teacher is "mirroring," so follow exactly.

(2) Follow Along videos: Practice your trick meet by following these twirlers. They might not be perfect--always check to be sure YOU are doing the trick correctly when you follow along.

It's good to practice the levels you have already passed. This is a good way to warm up your baton brain every day. Then move up to the level you are working on.
