Oregon Rules and Regulations
I. In case of ties below first place, they will remain tied and the position will be moved down one place (i.e., If 2nd place ties, next placing would be 4th).
II. Spectators, parents and contestants will refrain from talking or standing near the judges' table during the act of judging. If you have any questions regarding an event, judges are available after the contest.
III. All judges' decisions will be final. Judges will be happy to answer any courteous questions after the contest. Any error in tabulation should be reported within 24 hours.
IV. There will be no solicitation of any student, by any person, parent, twirler, spectator, teacher or judge. Disqualification from any further competitions may result.
V. Oregon law forbids SMOKING inside any public buildings, and this includes schools.
VI. Most schools prohibit fans from bringing personal lawn chairs to sit in on the sidelines. Special accomodations will be made for handicapped fans, however.
VII. Please supervise your small children during our competitions. This is for their safety as well as for the fairness to the contestants who are performing.
Again this year, you may wish those special twirlers of yours Good Luck at the contests. One 60-space line costs only $5.00 and is a unique and lasting way to show your support. Look for the "Good Luck Lines" on your entry forms.
