The FantastiX Baton Team |
|
DATES:
We practice on Tuesdays
Fall term, 2011: Beginning October
6
Winter term, 2012: Beginning the first week of January
Spring term, 2012: Beginning after spring break
FantastiX practices are on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30
Of course the "free class" is free. There is a performance fee if you choose to participate in the performances.
Team prices will be determined soon. They are calculated based on the costs of the competition entries and costume purchases. Advanced twirlers may have higher costs, as they compete in more expensive events.
Special activities and performance opportunities may be offered exclusively to team members with all fees and costumes included, except shoes. Check the team page for more information.
Team members are required to join the USTA (United States Twirling Association). Here's a link to the membership form. First year membership is very affordable. Second-year membership is more expensive, but if you join before Nov. 1, you can save a lot of money. If you have more than one twirler in your family, the second one can get the "family membership" for a reduced price. The USTA covers insurance for the coach and the twirlers at all practices and events, as well as promotes the sport of baton.
COMPETITIONS:
Your dues cover the costumes and entry fees for your team routine at
